Surprising statistics indicate a high rate of HIV infection among adolescents in Kenya.

Almost a third of the infections of HIV occur among adolescents.

President Uhuru has called upon Kenyans to fight against the disease after the president heard that almost half of the adolescents living with the disease do not have access to anti-retroviral treatment according standard newspaper.

    Kenyans need to rush voluntary counselling and testing clinics to be given ARV'S once one is proved to be HIV positive. bure tutakufa bana.

    I totally agree with the president. Over years the focus of HIV AIDS menace has concentrated on the adults who are infected. The adolescents have been ignored. Its time for us to shift the focus and attend to all groups infected with HIV AIDS in society.
