UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, "WE MUST PAY LESS TO TRAVEL".

Moi university students yesterday demanded that they must pay less fare from moi university to and from Eldoret town and even to other parts of the country. This was due to the reports of drastic decrease of petrol and diesel prices.

Speaking at homeboyz kinyozi in Moi university wanyoike said the matatu owners are taking the issue lightly and are silently peeping into our wallets taking advantage of the innocence of the students. "we must not allow them to take advantage of the situation, if we must protest we will".

villagers joined hands with the students and made a  decision that they must pay at most ksh50 for the buses and ksh70 for the "matatus". following the decrease of fuel prices from ksh114 to ksh85,prices should be reduced as it has  been the same case in other parts of the country, some parts have cut down their prices as from ksh950 to ksh750 hence it must take effect as soon as possible the students said.

Moi university students school of information sciences demand for a field trip .     By Matt son sang Students in the school of information sciences on Monday made a decision to take action against the failure of the school administration to communicate to them about the field trips they are supposed to go in second and fourth years of study. “We paid the money since we started our first year and we don’t see any reason why they keep silent on the issue” Kevin, one of the 3 rd year students said.
