High School Student Has Amazing Response After School Deems Her Dress 'Sexually Distracting' (Photo)

After receiving detention and suspension from school for breaking the dress code, Canadian teen Lauren Wiggins decided to take a stand against a standard she says promotes the wrong message.
The 17-year-old was told on Monday that her full-length halter dress was “inappropriate” and a “sexual distraction” to fellow students.
“Enough is enough. I’m tired of the unjust standards that we as women are held up to,” Wiggins wrote on Facebook. “I’m tired of the discrimination against our bodies, and I’m absolutely fed up with comments that make us feel like we can’t be comfortable without being provocative.”
Wiggins received detention for her clothing. After writing a complaint letter to vice principal Shane Sturgeon, she was also suspended from school for one day.

“If you are truly so concerned that a boy in this school will get distracted by my upper back and shoulders, then he needs to be sent home and practice self control,” Wiggins wrote. “The fact that authority figures, especially males, can tell young women they must cover up their shoulders and their back because it is ‘inappropriate’ and a ‘distraction’ is very uncomforting.”
Wiggins added that schools are the social building blocks of an adolescent’s life and they should teach them how to communicate and develop relationships with others.
Wiggins' parents have been supportive of her decision to wear the dress. Her mother, Cindy, even noted that Wiggins wore it to a job interview and was hired.

5g researchers achieve record speed Record –breaking speeds have been achieved during tests of 5G data connections, scientists have said. Researchers in the university of Surrey’s 5G innovation centre managed one terabit per second (Tbps) which is many thousands of times faster than current data connections. The head of the 5GIC said he hoped to demonstrate the technology to the public in 2018. Ofcom has said 5G could be available in Britain by 2020. At 1Tbps, it would be theoretically be possible to download a file 100 times the size of a feature film in about 3 seconds. The speed is more than 65,000 times faster than the average 4G download speeds. According to news website V3, 5GIC director prof Rahim Tafazoli said: “we have developed 10 more breakthrough technologies and one of them means we can exceed 1Tbps wirelessly. This is the same capacity as fibreoptics but we are doing it wirelessly” (BBC NEWS).
Moi university students school of information sciences demand for a field trip .     By Matt son sang Students in the school of information sciences on Monday made a decision to take action against the failure of the school administration to communicate to them about the field trips they are supposed to go in second and fourth years of study. “We paid the money since we started our first year and we don’t see any reason why they keep silent on the issue” Kevin, one of the 3 rd year students said. According to the school curriculum students have to go for a field trip in second year and third year something that had been ignored for the past few years unless the students demand for it is when action is taken this makes the students lose trust in the administration and the students’ leaders the students claimed. After a conversation which took about half an hour one of the students leaders countered their anger by informing them that plans are already on the table and a solut...
Please read this to be on the safe side. What!!!!!!!! chewing someone's pen is just horrible get this clear. By Matt Son Sang Sometimes we contract diseases without noticing the genesis of the whole thing. This might be as a result of how we handle objects and expose them close to our mouths.  That pen you borrow or steal from your friend is not always safe to handle especially for those guys who perceive that everything held at hand is food. Of course that pen you borrowed had already been exposed to someone else’s spit when that person was either very much idle or was seriously thinking about something.  I’m against the act of chewing pens but it is much better than opening your mouth open when wondering or thinking very hard because you might have even forgotten to brush your teeth.  People who think hard open their mouths, hit their heads on the wall or chew pens. People who think smart, we are not bothered about you. Secondly, have you borrowed a pen and in the proce...
